Nowadays, proper species management involves much more than it did a decade ago. Animal welfare and quality of life are constantly evolving concepts, shaped by our knowledge and available treatments for animals. Various solutions are constantly being sought to assure health and well-being, given the increasing life expectancy of our domestic animals. The focus of the foundation is ensuring optimal standards of animal welfare, including care and treatment of palliative or chronically-ill patients, with a special focus on horses.
