Nature protection

In the area of Szépalma, we can find a variety of plant species in different areas of the estate, which are not only of botanical value, but also of horticultural value, and their conservation is important for the protection of the local natural heritage.

Another example of our efforts is what happened by improving of the water quality in the small lake in Szépalma – this was accompanied by a proportional increase in the species composition of the fauna. In addition, emphasis has been placed on planting plants that provide food crops for birds that play an important role in the food chain. A small island has been created to provide a ‘safe’ nesting site for waterfowl.
